The Asana toolkit provides Arcade tools that enable LLMs to interact with Asana for task, project, team, and workspace management. It covers the full lifecycle of work items — creating, reading, updating, searching, and organizing — via 18 tools backed by OAuth 2.0.
Capabilities
- Task management — create, retrieve, update, search, and list subtasks; attach files to tasks (text via string, binary via base64, or remote via URL)
- Project and workspace access — list, get, and navigate projects and workspaces visible to the authenticated user
- Team and user operations — list all workspace teams or only the current user's teams; retrieve individual team and user details
- Tagging — create tags, list tags within a workspace, and fetch individual tags by ID
OAuth
Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 with Asana as the provider. See the Asana auth provider docs for setup details.

workspace_id. If none of these are provided and the account has only one workspace, the task
will be associated to that workspace. If the account has multiple workspaces, an error will
