Pylon Toolkit

Arcade toolkit for interacting with Pylon, a customer support platform. Enables LLMs to manage issues, teams, users, and contacts programmatically.

Capabilities

  • Issue management: Retrieve, list, filter, assign, update status, and add internal notes to issues; filtering supports state, assignee, team, and tags.
  • Issue search: BM25-ranked keyword search across titles and descriptions (indexes up to 400 issues from the last 30 days); supports word stems (auth, config) and AND/OR/NOT operators.
  • Team and user management: List all teams and workspace users; retrieve detailed team info including members; search users by name via fuzzy matching.
  • Contact management: List and search contacts by name or email using fuzzy matching.
  • Identity: Resolve the authenticated API token owner via WhoAmI (returns the service account profile, not the acting human user).

Secrets

PYLON_API_TOKEN — A Pylon API token used to authenticate all requests. This is an API token (not a personal user credential), so it acts as a service account; WhoAmI will return this account's profile. To obtain it, log into your Pylon workspace, navigate to Settings → API, and generate a new API token. The token must have sufficient permissions to read and write issues, teams, users, and contacts within your workspace.

For guidance on configuring secrets in Arcade, see the Arcade secrets docs. You can also manage secrets directly in the Arcade dashboard.
