Capabilities
- Send & schedule email: Send transactional email immediately or queue it for future delivery using a
scheduled_attimestamp; returns the Resend-assignedemail_id. - Manage scheduled email: Reschedule or cancel queued (not-yet-sent) emails by their ID.
- Email status inspection: Retrieve a single email record by ID, including its current delivery status.
Secrets
RESEND_API_KEY — A Resend API key used to authenticate all requests. Generate one in the Resend dashboard under API Keys. Create a key with Full access (or at minimum Sending access) for the domains you intend to use; note that cancellation and rescheduling require the key to have permission to manage emails. Free-tier Resend accounts can generate API keys but are limited to sending from onboarding until a custom domain is verified.
