Microsoft Word Toolkit
The Microsoft Word toolkit connects Arcade to a user's OneDrive-hosted Word documents, enabling LLMs to create, read, and edit .docx files programmatically.
Capabilities
- Document creation & upload: Create new
.docxfiles in OneDrive with optional initial text content (4 MB upload limit). - Document reading: Retrieve document metadata and/or full content; content is returned as Markdown by default for easy downstream processing.
- Document editing: Append text to the end of existing
.docxfiles (4 MB limit;.docxformat only). - User/environment inspection: Fetch information about the authenticated user and their Microsoft Word environment.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Microsoft provider. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for setup instructions, required scopes, and configuration details.
